Vac-Tron

One of the things I love about my job is the cool things I get to discover that most people never get to see.
Vac-Tron is a company that makes powerful truck-size vacuums that utilities use to clear dirt and liquids quickly from areas that would otherwise require a lot of shovel time.  http://www.vactron.com/
I was hired by Husebo Advertising  www.husebo.com to come up with photos for a brochure and I got to go behind the scenes for a couple of hours to document the construction process.

Music Man

Richard Lawrence is an extremely talented musician and I prodded him to do some photos that he could use for promoting his shows.

Orlando Magazine Doctors

These photo will be in Orlando Magazine in their "Finest Doctors" issue.

HSC Interiors

This company wanted to show off their cool new headquarters in photos, so we did all of this and much more in just a half day shoot with only the available light.

Students and technology

More marketing shots for my school textbook publisher client.

UCF portraits

These photos were taken for the UCF Foundation annual report.

This was what the background looked like while they were able to be there...

and this was what the background looked like 30 minutes later after they were gone.

I combined the two images to create a better one.  It works well as a vertical also.

and this is what they published in the annual report...

Pilates studio

"On the run Fitness" is a local private coaching gym here in Mount Dora that needed some new photos to promote their new Pilates studio and equipment.

Storybook House--Sam Stoltz arichitect

I photographed this Sam Stoltz designed "Storybook House" in Mt. Plymouth, using light painting in many different exposures and then combining them in Photoshop.  It's a lot more difficult than I just made that sound!
If you're interested in this type of home, here's a very good article about it:
http://studiohourglass.blogspot.com/2009/07/exploring-little-switerzland.html

This is what it looked like after making lots of different exposures using a flash light in the dark with an open camera shutter.  If I had twenty people with flashlights at just the right place at just the right time, I could have done it in one exposure.  But I didn't.

This what it really looks like.

Here are some other photos I took with normal photography.
They say Al Capone's bookkeeper lived here--that sounds like a very dangerous job!

Healthy Living Magazine

This is a cover photo I shot for Healthy Living Magazine about indigent health care.

This was an alternate idea below.

Heallthy Living Magazine cover with car

Imagine driving down the road next to a speeding car.  It's a two-lane road, so you are driving on the wrong side of the road.  There is a photographer in the bed of your pickup truck, holding for dear life while trying to shoot a couple in the car next to you.  Everyone thinks this is big fun.
