Shooting a movie
I worked (for free) for a number of days on a no-budget local Christian movie called "A Letter for Joe". Dan and I lit and shot quite a few of the scenes and got a Cinematographer credit. It hasn't been released yet, but the version I saw looked pretty good--all things considered. De Miller did a great job of directing and Dan and I both learned a lot. Here's the trailer:

Syngenta
Syngenta is a company that finds cures for agricultural pests and diseases. We got a lot of photos accomplished in one very long day in their Vero Beach headquarters. The photos were used in their in-house magazine called Thrive.

Party photos
I really try not to get talked into doing party photos, but sometimes it's for a client that you really like. If you have to do them, here's the way to shoot it: you have an assistant who can hold a soft strobe light away from the camera. In this case, I had Mike stand in strategic places that would make the subjects look their best. University of Central Florida art school.

Government Tech Magazine
Who knew there was a Government Technology Magazine?
I got the call to photograph two senior City of Orlando officials in City Hall and came up with a lot of variations that made the client very happy. Here are a few.

Windhorse Video
I just realized I never posted the video I shot for the Windhorse Center in Eustis, FL.
They are a center for healthy food, organic farmer's market, yoga classes, massage and all kinds of groovy stuff.

Lakeside Inn video, Mount Dora, FL
Here's a video we shot for the 130 year old Lakeside Inn in Mount Dora. They wrote the copy and supplied a lot of the still photos.
I shot photos at the same time for their website. Here are a few.

Float Plane in Mount Dora, FL at the Lakeside Inn
Small planes are a lot of fun, but float planes are the best around here. We're not called Lake County for nothing. As soon as you're up in the air, the ground seems filled with a Swiss cheese of water everywhere. Rides are available at the Lakeside Inn during the winter for as little as $50.

Seminole State College
Seminole State needed a lot of students and faculty photographed on white for their marketing department, so I set up a studio in an empty classroom and they just kept coming all day. Coaxing expressions out was an interesting project, but I think everyone had a good time.
